After returning back to St. Louis, I continued my teaching career for 5 more years in the St. Louis area where I spent most of those years teaching kindergarten. During this time, I continued my education and earned a Master's Degree in Education with a Literacy emphasis from the University of Missouri St. Louis. I also earned several certifications such as; Early Childhood, Elementary, Mild-Moderate Disabilities, and Special Reading.
After all of these experiences and education, I started teaching kindergarten at Old Bonhomme in 2013. I am happy to say that this will be my 12th year teaching kindergarten at Old Bonhomme and I absolutely love it! The staff, parents, and students are amazing to work with and the community is wonderful. I can not wait to start another school year here and meet all of my new KM students!

My husband David and I live in the St. Charles area with our cat Willow.
We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary this summer by going on our first trip to Europe. We visited London, Paris, and Amsterdam and it was a fabulous trip. Some things that I love to do are traveling, reading, hiking, and doing home improvements. I also love to spend time with family, try new restaurants, and do anything outdoors.
In addition, to my husband, I also have a large family with 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 nephews, and 2 nieces. I love spending time with my family and teaching my nephews and nieces new things.
However, my favorite passion is finding new and exciting ways to engage and challenge my students. I am looking forward to a fun and exciting new year!!
